In today's consumer driven culture, people have more and more options for electronic entertainment. If many people had the entertainment center of their dreams, it would include their plasma screen TV, a 5.1 channel receiver, six speakers, a DVD player, CD player, game system, VCR, cable box, and perhaps even more. Then there's your personal computer system, which has any number of components and extras.

If you've got electronic equipment, appliances, computers and the like, that means you've got cords. These cords are going to be different colors, lengths, and thicknesses--and chances are they're all either bunched up on the floor, pushed halfheartedly under rugs, or pulled tight between the equipment and the wall because they're not long enough to run around the corners of the room to keep them out of the way.
